Races!

Well, those were the hardest races I have ever done, and they were just the first races of the season! After my knee was cleared for my first races, I got thrown into my first Nor-Am race ever in Aspen, Colorado, with a World Cup Field. In order to make anything happen in these races, you had to leave nothing on the hill and go ALL OUT. I did just that and happened to find myself lying in the b-net on the side of the trail.

Check out some of these names!

The Knee

Unfortunately I am missing the first 2 Nor-Ams of the season because of a minor knee tweak which are happening today and tomorrow. But the good news is that I am ready to roll for the GS's on Monday and Tuesday at Aspen. I trained GS today for the first time in 2 weeks and we are getting close to 100%!

And Winter Begins

Hello Everyone!  Winter is finally here and we are getting to race all of a sudden.  Next week I will have my first races in Loveland and Aspen, Colorado. I missed my first race of the season due to a minor injury, but hopefully I will be clear to race next week. I have been training all summer, on and off snow, and I couldn't feel more ready for the race season.  Throughout the winter, I will be posting about my travels and experiences in Canada, Austria, Italy, Chile and various places all over the US.  I am excited to see what my new life has in stock for me, and you can follow along by checking in every once in a while!! I posted some of my final races from last year to get me amped up for my up and coming ones.

Enjoy
